But, reality check, I'm probably the only one who still likes SVN 
better. At least if I count the comments in the previous few mails, 
where about 5 people more or less voted for git...

Ok,

so let's manually "sync" (redo) the last few extra commits from SVN and 
finally switch over to primarily using git (but still at SourceForge, 
for now).

I'll see if the access rights to SVN can be lowered so that it is still 
available (at its current revision) for existing scripts that fetch it 
from SVN but not writable.

Last chance for any objections, anyone??
