I have yet to see the workflow for Pull Requests using Sourceforge,
but everybody now is using Github, so I presume you want to to switch
to GIT while staying on Sourceforge, where the minority is.

I would definitely object to staying on Sourceforge, for many reasons,
the first one being advertisement.
