Hi,
I got one off Aliexpress, and what I received was an adaptater with a
PIC (it uses this firmware : http://sa89a.net/mp.cgi/ele/ub.htm). It
doesn't works with UrJTAG, neither with OpenOCD. I got the cheapest
Blaster I could find, maybe higher end adapters have the FT2232 ?
Anyway if what you're looking for is a cheap decent JTAG interface that
is supported under UrJTAG, there are plenty of FT2232H development
boards around 15$ on Aliexpress. If you're willing to drop the "decent"
criteria, there's my DirtyJTAG project
(https://github.com/jeanthom/DirtyJTAG), which has support in mainline
UrJTAG since a few weeks.

I am interested in using a USB blaster clone from China to do boundary

Has anyone tried those, or loaded firmware from usb_jtag? Are they
based on firmware from usb_jtag?
If you used them, do they work well?
What is the status of sourceforge as the repo for UrJTAG?
Are the github forks really the current state of the project(s)?
