IBM is currently seeking a talented Tivoli Systems Management Specialist for a 1+ year project in Torrance, CA. Project Details: We need a resource to perform Tivoli Workload Administrator (TWS/OPC) duties. The Tivoli Workload Administrator (TWS / OLD Product Name OPC) would be a person that would administer the product. They would be responsible for working with the application teams and making all scheduling changes in the mainframe production environment. The current environment is about 8,000 to 9,000 batch jobs per day. The TWS administrator maintains all the applications batch environment, maintain the TWS product and provides support to the Production Control group. The Plateau Lead Consultant will have primary responsibility for functional implementation tasks. The Lead Consultant will facilitate the functional requirements workshops as well as co-facilitate the technical requirements workshops. The lead consultant will deliver the solution design document and will help in development other implementation work products including the fit-gap analysis, technical design document, and actual configuration of the Plateau LMS. Finally, the lead consultant will have oversight of all Plateau implementation tasks and deliverables as well provide regular status reports to IBM and attend regularly scheduled status meetings with IBM and the client.
