Title: Business Analyst Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 12+ months contract Job Req: Client needs a senior level Business Analyst (8 yrs experience) to work closely with the internal business stakeholders. The candidate must have heavy experience working closely with business stakeholders and writing use cases. The group has a strong technical team so a BA with a strong technical background is a non-starter. The candidates experience must be focused on the business side. Candidates who illustrate strong QA experience will not be of interest. This senior level candidate will be expected to be senior enough to quickly understand the products (banking services background), understand the processes and once the stakeholders/players are identified, be able to quickly contribute and carry on business with little or no oversight required. Client's preference is a candidate who understands what it is to work with hi volume transactional web sites. Candidates from larger institutions may have this experience. Other Details: Resume submittals must be accompanied by one solid Use Case sample preferably containing not only txt write up but also flow/process chart. Resumes should be limited in length and reflect candidates experience as related to a specific position. Example: many resumes start with bullets statements sometimes over one page in length. Client also wants the resume to be focused on the candidates' experience. Example: some resumes discuss the business to which they were assigned defining not only the general nature of the product but also the objective of the company in the market. Client also doesn't like candidates who describe their project experience as a "we" experience.
