Responsibilities
Ø Interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems,
and/or usability issues.
Ø Consistently writing, translating, and coding software programs and
applications according to specifications.
Ø Writing programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance
of company applications as necessary.
Ø Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software
developers to assist in resolving problems with software products or agency
software systems.
Ø Designing, running and monitoring software performance tests on new and
existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for
improvement, and general debugging.
Ø Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to
problem areas.
Ø Generating statistics and write reports for management and/or team
members on the status of the programming process.
Ø Analyzing and assessing existing business systems and procedures.
Ø Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all internal and
external program users.
Ø Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines.
Ø Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
Ø Install software products for end users as required.
Ø Other duties as assigned.
Other Special Requirements:
On-call availability.
Overtime hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and
other devices.
Able to lift computer drives, monitors, and other peripherals.

Experience developing web applications using object oriented analysis,
design, and programming with ColdFusion.

Experience and an understanding of coding methods and best practices.

Experience developing test cases and test plans.

Experience collaborating with developers, programmers, and designers
in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and
applications.

Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Experience developing SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers using
Microsoft SQL Server 2005. This includes experience with select, insert,
update, and delete queries.

Experience working in a networked, multi-tiered architecture with Novell
Netware, Apache Tomcat, Windows XP Pro, and Windows Server 2003.

Experience developing XML data extraction and transfer programs.

Experience developing custom forms with Adobe PDFs and Adobe Acrobat
Professional.
Strong
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment.
