We support major consumer facing web sites and business critical internal applications through regular software enhancements, and ongoing support. Financial services sites require that we adhere to change management, project control, and security policies that the release manager will be responsible for enforcing. In addition, you will own the product backlog for all minor queue enhancements and major project releases. Coordinating developers assignments, updating availability, ensuring proper testing and approvals. Responsibilities include: - Management of medium to large projects as well minor development queue for web team across all sites and systems - Creation, maintenance and communication of forward looking release calendar - Coordination with other PMs across eCommerce and Cross Sell groups to include project solutions in upcoming releases - Creation and management of all Change Management CRs related to upcoming releases - Coordination with team resource managers to determine development capacity for upcoming releases - Ensuring that all change requests have requestors associated with them - Ensuring that all change requests result in updated test cases - Ensuring that all changes requests have been tested and approved - Ensuring that all Information Security policies are adhered to including vulnerability scans in lower tiers and source code scans at code complete Skills include - Senior project management experience spanning the full software development lifecycle - Expertise in managing web development using both waterfall and agile methodologies - Experience managing solution delivery in n-tier, Java/J2EE environments Nice to have - Familiar with GMAC Enterprise change management policies and procedures - Familiar with Ruby on Rails (development, deployment) ** *Requirement #2* *Project Manager* *Charlotte**, NC*** *6 months* PURPOSE: Plans, organizes and controls assigned cross-functional projects from conceptual stages through product development life cycles.
