The consultant should live in Boston,MA and should have Financial Services Industry Experience. *Location:* Boston, MA *Duration*: 6 months to start *Notes:* Must be able to interview ON-SITE, therefore want local candidates to Boston. *PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: * - This job is crucial for the support and maintenance of the source control code and release tools used in Pioneer projects. *MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * - The Release Engineering team plays an integral role in software development - Responsible for implementing and executing our products' release processes - Will help software development teams by creating and maintain deployment procedures using Serena Mover and Builder, or any other tools appropriate for the project - Will be also responsible to help evaluating, implementing and supporting a new Source Code Management solution. *REQUIREMENTS*: - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Experience in managing a source code version control systems (PVCS/Perforce/Subversion). - Extensive knowledge of Windows and Solaris Unix/Linux platforms. Familiarity with Windows development a plus.
