Location: NYC Duration: 6 months Title: Access Developer Analyst …. MUST have financial background Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: creating and updating the underlying tables and queries in the MS Access database, as well as building and modifying front-end forms and reports. This is accomplished by working with SME resources that understand the details of the portfolio management functions being built, as well as potential consumers of the application in both IT and the business. Tactical MS Access tool support needed for IB IT framework / model. This position is responsible for the evolving build of an MS Access Database and application that is being utilized to prototype new portfolio management functionality. Qualifications: Candidate should have 2 – 4 years of working experience on prototypes with various development tools. This position requires the following: experience in MS Access building databases and applications; good analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate conversations into working code very quickly. Candidates must be an expert in MS Access and be able to quickly implement thoughts into working code. Preference will be given to candidates that are familiar with Business Analysis and can go from conversation to prototype to requirements/specifications. Investment Banking experience is preferred, along with PMO experience and knowledge of IT project budget process. Desirable Skills include working experience with MS Project Server or Planview.
