Position: Network Engineer Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6 months contract Rate: $45 We are need of a Network Engineer who is fluent in voice administration, design, implementation, troubleshooting & maintenance. The following are some high level requirements. * Five to seven years experience in Information Systems working with Voice Telecommunications. Experience includes: Avaya Voice Communication Infrastructure, Voice Recording Systems (VPI), Modular Messaging, CMS, PBX (Avaya, Lucent, and Nortel), Automatic Call Distributor (ACD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Vector/VDN Programming and other peripheral voice equipment. * Responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, support, and integrity of the telecommunication and client server environments and associated OEM vendor software. * Demonstrates high level of expertise in the troubleshooting of telecommunications hardware and software, and networking and communications protocol problems. * Demonstrates the uppermost levels of expertise in network protocols. Often takes a lead role in challenging and complex situations.
