*Location:* Owing mills, MD *Duration:* 3+ Months *Description:* This position is for a Database expert with Testing Knowledge In particular the candidate must have: *Database skills* • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL • Must have worked as a Database developer / database analyst in the past • Extremely strong in database concepts • Must be able to write very complex queries at short notice, analyze existing ones and debug • Must be able to look issues from various angles of database • Experience with Data migration in complex environment • Some DBA experience will be beneficial *Performance Testing* • Exposure with performance tuning related to database • Knowledge of performance testing, stress testing • Test the system for performance • Exposure with any of the performance tools like load runner *Testing Skills* • Expertise in developing and executing formal test plans • Test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation • Follows up on open defects to closure. *Other skills* Self starter, able to deliver without direction, good communication skills.
