*Position Title: Mechanical Engineer*

*Location: San Jose , CA*

*Duration : 6+ Month*



*Detailed JD:*

The candidate should demonstrate ability to design, plan and execute
development of electronic system packaging.

•             Should understand sheet metal tooling and plastic injection
mold process

•             Should demonstrate knowledge in GD&T, process capability
(Cpk) and statistical tolerance analysis

•             Should be familiar with design for manufacturability  (DFM)

•             Should be familiar with 19-in rack system standard and data
center environment.

•             At least 10 years of experience in a CAD tool (over 2 years
of using Pro/E Wildfire or CREO a must.)

•             Familiar with Allegro PCB CAD tool and IDF conversion between
mCAD and eCAD.

•             Familiar with NEBS GR-63 and MIL-STD-810 or other
environmental test standard and process.

•             Experience in using high speed backplane connectors

Technology: SolidWorks & Costing tools



Domain: Manufacturing

1.        Understanding of the Mechanical sub components in
electronic/electrical devices

2.       Investigate on alternates for a low cost solution.

3.       Provide proposal with ROI and cost savings.

4.       Mechanical Value engineering for product.

5.       Exposure to the cisco process is a big plus.
