*FPGA Engineer*

*Local candidates highly preferred*

*MUST HAVES:*

   -

   Experience as a *FPGA designer/developer*
   -

   Experience *testing FPGA* firmware
   -

   Experience using *Verilog or VHDL*
   -

   Experience performing design and development of *engineering assignments
   related to hardware products and systems *
   -

   Experience *designing of subsystems and/or equipment*
   -

   Developing simulation test benches
   -

   Ability to define, implement and test subsystems for use in targeted to
   state-of-the-art broadband products
   -

   Performing simulation, floorplanning, synthesis and timing analysis
   -

   Establishing and conducting testing routines or developing project plans
   -

   Participating in design reviews
   -

   Documenting work and results
   -

   Develoing implementation of custom waveforms, including:
   -

      Coding and testing DSP functions
      -

      Implementing and integrating digital baseband encoders/decoders
      -

      Interleavers/de-interleavers
      -

   Technical documentation, correspondence, and communication
   -

   Must have good communication skills
   -

      Written & Verbal as some contact with customers will be required

   ASIC

   Prior experience leading a team of developers
