This team is responsible for managing automation and developing tools to assist xPlatform and other test and development groups in NETO. We're looking for an engineer with extensive experience in system design, solutions architecture, web-based tools, technologies and application development, and expertise in database operations primarily using Microsoft Technologies. The Engineer would be responsible for developing new tools, scaling of the tools under our platform, identifying/implementing new technologies interfacing with internal and external teams to drive requirements and promote adoption of existing tools. Core Responsibilities: • Actively participates in requirements reviews, architectural discussions, code reviews and debugging exercises • Works with other members of cross-functional teams, joint ventures, third party vendors to deliver quality products, in a timely fashion, that meet defined requirements. Establishes and maintains working relationships within TQM, Product Engineering teams, vendors and contractors. • Solves complex problems. Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. • Knowledge of setting up and managing Continuous Integration Environments using Jenkins/Team City/Maven/SBT • Develop tools using Java Technologies (Java SE 6/7, J2EE 5/6). • Configuration management via Puppet. • Develop tools using , C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008 or higher, Team Foundation Server, IIS 6 & higher, and VSTS Performance Test Suite • Develop automations to support other areas of the business, using free/open source tools where possible. EDUCATION: • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related discipline is a MUST. EXPERIENCE: Must have 5+ Years of Experience in Java SE 6/7, J2EE 5/6 (Web and Full profile) Must have 2+ Years’ Experience in Scala 2.9/2.10 Must have 2+ Years’ Experience in Tomcat 7 Tools 1. Experience in Akka 2.1.x/2.2.x 2. Experience in Play 2.1.x/2.2.x 3. Experience in JBOSS 6/7 2. Protocols 1. TCP/IP 2. SIP 3. HTTP (REST) 3. Build Tools/Frameworks 1. Maven 2. SBT 3. Jenkins 4. Open Stack cloud environments 4. Shell scripting (Python and Bash are preferred) 5. Root cause issue analysis for high-throughput concurrent/distributed systems • At least 3 years of experience in modern (Agile) software development methodologies with design responsibilities, and 8 years total software development experience. • Experience mapping business requirements to technology capabilities, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing end-to-end solutions • Clear and effective verbal and written communications skills • Strong interpersonal skills; capable of interacting with company personnel on complex topics; make presentations to an internal audience and interacting positively with senior management. • Must have strong, independent problem solving skills and be self-directed. • Must have 5 or more years of experience with scripting in a UNIX environment (Perl, Python). • Must have 5 or more years of experience building web-based solutions using Java technologies. • Must have 3 or more years of experience with Performance/Load Testing, preferably with Gatling/ALM/UFT Performance Center. • Must have 3 or more years of experience with NoSQL (CouchDB, Redis, MongoDB or Cassandra) • Must have 3 or more years of experience with RDBMS (Oracle 11.x, 12.x, SQL Server 2008 or higher preferred). • Desired to have 3 or more years of experience with Web Service related technologies (WCF, Soap, XML, and RESTful). • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, DOM is required. • Experience with JavaScript libraries is desired (JQuery, Scriptaculous, prototype, ext, (yui-ext) gwt). *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
