*Peoplesoft HCM Functional Analyst 12 months plus contract role NYC- In
person interview*

*Functional Analysts *The Functional analyst is responsible for
data/application analysis, creation and review of functional designs, and
documentation from the business requirements. He/she work in a
functional/technical capacity with a good understanding of business
processes for completing a fit gap analysis between the current version and
the upgrade to identify the functional requirements.

Perform analysis of the compare reports and participate in the Keep/Drop
decisions, and construct application flows for core Business processes, and
create functional design for specific application customizations /
enhancements including interfaces and reports.

Design and Configuration of PeopleSoft HCM applications and perform
business tests of the related configurations. Provide functional
application expertise to data conversion team and assist in fixing data
conversion scripts. Create business test scenarios and provide full
life-cycle support in requirements definition, system analysis, design,
development, quality assurance, documentation, testing, training and
production
stabilization support. Work with various teams including business,
conversion, development, testing, migration and cross-functional teams
during all phases of the project cycle, user acceptance test and training,
deployment, and post implementation.


*Required Qualifications:*
Must have a minimum of Seven (7) years' experience in working with multiple
versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across multiple HCM modules such as
Recruiting, Talent Acquisition Management, Workforce Administration,
Benefits Administration, Compensation, etc.
Must have completed at least one (1) PeopleSoft HCM application upgrades to
version 9.2 as a primary upgrade functional analyst
Must have worked as HCM Functional Lead 3+ implementation and/or upgrade
projects.
Must have implementation, design, and customization experience for
PeopleSoft HCM modules
Experience in leading requirement gathering sessions and documenting the
business
requirements
Experience in performing Fit-Gap Analysis, Conduct Walk-thru Sessions, and
Proof of Concept sessions on the new functionality of PeopleSoft HR and
Benefits modules with the business users and Subject Matter Experts.

Experience in test planning and execution, training strategy, and overall
implementation planning.
Experience in participating in the Keep/Drop decisions based on compare
report results, and construct application flows for core business
processes, and create functional design for specific application
customizations / enhancements including interfaces and reports.
Experience in providing full life-cycle support in requirements definition,
system analysis, design, development, quality assurance, documentation,
testing, training, change management and production stabilization support
Proven ability to evaluate configuration options to leverage PeopleSoft
delivered functionality
Must be proficient with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data,
troubleshooting, and
testing/validating source system data.
Must have strong writing skills and be able to create functional
specifications, design
documents, training materials, test scripts, etc.
Experience in interfacing with various cross functional teams to refine
requirements and advise on best practices
Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communications, making
presentations before groups and committees, and working and/or leading
effectively and cooperatively with staff and management.
Demonstrated skill in analysis and problem solving including determining
priorities, producing fully developed quality recommendations to decision
makers.

*Preferred Qualifications:*
Knowledge of Report Distribution Tools, such as VISTA Plus, LRS products
etc.
Working experience and understanding of PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2)
and PeopleSoft Tools (v 8.54)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills (i.e. analysis, re-creation,
and documenting the impact on the system overall)
Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations
Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and
organizational skills are required
Experience working within a matrix environment.
Certified in Oracle
Experience in CA Scheduler Tool
