Role: .Net developer Location: NYC, NY Duration: About 10 months Need only GC/USC/EAD GC candidates SCOPE OF SERVICES: • Develop a mobile responsive website • Works at the highest level of all technical phases of programming; requires a high degree of creative thinking and the ability to use the accumulated knowledge and experience of others • Critically reviews all programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance with established departmental guidelines, policies and practices as well as industry standard guidelines; performs acceptance testing and program implementation for assigned systems and/or projects. • Responsible for the underlying architecture for the software program • Oversees the work being done by any other software engineers working on the project • Mentors new or lower-level software developers or programmers, as well all the members on the development team • Serve as an interface between the programmers and management • Has ownership of development plans and have supervisorial responsibilities in delegating work and ensuring that software projects come in on time and under budget • Serves as technical advisers to management and provide programming perspective on requirements MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Experience in development of enterprise level software using .NET technologies, MVC 5, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, C#.NET, Web Forms, Windows Forms, Windows Services, LINQ, Asynchronous / Multithreaded Programming, JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap. • Experience working on data integration and interface development related projects. • Experience with security administration across multiple operating systems and especially Windows, Exchange, Cisco and SQL environments. • Candidates must be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements and other issues. • Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communications, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills. • Because of the constant developing nature of information systems and cyber-attacks, candidate must be committed to continuous learning and system development. • Experience of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary cross-functional teams with a focus on delivery. • Experience working with a shared services provider and operating environment. • Experience in partnering with 3rd party application providers/vendors DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Application domain knowledge is a plus, to have credibility with user representatives and be able to work effectively with them Thanks, Shalin TCA Consulting Group Inc.
