We have a requirement for a Sr. Data Analyst.
We have a requirement for a Sr Data Analyst. Looking for candidates with
an Analytic background in Medical claims such as previous experience within
the medical insurance field, hospital or other medical facility
Position: Sr. Data Analyst
Duration: 1+ year
Location: Augusta Maine
Work Effort Breakdown:
20% Work Effort:
· Ability to obtain, synthesize and integrate a broad range of data
(financial, utilization, health care and quality) from multiple sources for
use in analytic/financial reporting.
30% Work Effort:
· Ability to utilize data and statistical analysis to test,
challenge and defend assumptions.
20% Work Effort:
· Will define how best to prepare reports, analyses, and forecasts
in support of clinical, operational and budgetary initiatives.
30% Work Effort:
· Knowledge of large scale ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
and/or health claims process applications and data warehouses.
Required:
· Finance and accounting experience
· Analytic background in Medical claims to include previous
experience within the medical insurance field, hospital or other medical
facility
· Demonstrated ability to synthesize data from varied sources
including on-line data from state and federal resources
· SAS: Advanced Skills, 5+ years' experience required
· SQL Server Management Studio: Advanced Skills, 5+ years'
experience required
· Microsoft Excel: Advanced Skills, 5+ years' experience required
· Windows 7: Advanced Skills, 5+ years' experience required
Preferred but not required:
· R
· Python
· Tableau
· Working knowledge of clinical data and/or Electronic Medical
Records
· Involvement in experimenting with different data manipulation
programs
