Manage all database objects in a large 24*7 mission critical systems. 2. Analyze business problems and design and implement databases that meet business requirements and support ongoing application development. 3. Analyze and resolve complex technical problems regarding the integration of object-oriented applications and infrastructure with relational database technology. 4. Monitor databases and perform tuning and troubleshooting enhancements to optimize their performance. 5. Develop and maintain utilities to automate problem determination, change implementation, and monitoring activities. 6. Participate in data-sourcing, import and data validation activities. 7. Provide database change and release management. 8. Coordinate all Oracle system changes with the Operational DBA team. *Requirements / Qualifications: * *1. 5+ years of experience as a Oracle DBA * 2. Experience with oracle 10g and 11g 3. Oracle Certified Professional 10 or 11g preferred. 4. Experience in Oracle performance tuning (SQL, database and system) 5. Experience in Data modeling and use of ER Studio. 6. Experience in Oracle Architecture 7. Familiar with large multi-terabyte instance management, including partition management 8. Familiar with OLAP and Data Mart designs and concepts 9. Familiar with Data Warehouse and OLAP database modeling 10. Understanding and tuning PLSQL 11. UNIX OS and scripting experience. 12. *Sybase DBA experience preferred. * 13.
