*JOB TITLE- Front-End Developer* *LOCATION- **Herndon, VA* *DURATION- 6+ Months* *MODE OF INTERVIEW: Phone and F2F* Job Description • Working with a team to create compelling and cutting-edge websites and web applications • Turning design and user interface mockups into functional websites • Custom programming and web application development • Contributing ideas and efforts toward internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions to various problems (i.e. development platforms, documentation, etc.) Work Experience *Required Skills:* - Experience building websites using JS frameworks such as Angular, React - Experience building applications using Java - Experience in Java based frameworks such as Springboot - Experience with Databases such as MySQL and PostGres - Experience writing simple shell scripts using UNIX/Linux - Experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery practices - Independence, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills - Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges - Ability to communicate and work well with others *Additional Assets: (Preferred)* - Familiarity with revision control systems such as Git/Github - Familiarity in Python based framework such as Flask, Django - Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Familiarity building applications based on a Microservices based architecture using Docker containers - Experience enhancing the performance of high-traffic sites Education and Training Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience Project Specific Requirements • Design and develop UI using JS frameworks 1.
