DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT. NEED SR CANDIDATE WITH 15 YRS of IT EXPERIENCE Rate $ market Duration: 6-12 months+ Location: Iowa City, IA • Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the strategic plans for the department. • Responsible for the development of the department budget. • Manage business continuity and recovery of company's information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan development, implementation and documentation. • Responsible for Information Systems operations and for software systems analysis and programming. • May also be responsible for one or more of the following: data center operations, database management, data security, server operations, client operations, storage, and helpdesk. • Basis administration, Web servers, messaging, infrastructure architecture, desk side operations, telecommunications (data and voice), and infrastructure training. • Reviews systems development project requests and coordinates schedules and related departmental activities. • Responsible for successful execution of infrastructure projects, with Company-wide scope. • Responsible for successful management of partners, including outsourcing partners which may be engaged to provide several infrastructure services. • The management of the relationship with partners may include one or more of the following: attend meetings, coordinate and evaluate project work, monitor the delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), negotiate service changes or additions, monitor partner performance, and review invoices. • Responsible for workforce planning. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. • Planning - Develops plans with long-range horizons based upon a sound knowledge of corporate expectations (policies, budgets, strategic plans). Envisions intended outcomes and works with others to systematically outline the resources and actions that will be required to produce the desired results. Anticipates obstacles to intended strategies and develops contingency plans for use in the event a plan becomes unworkable.
