Duration: Long term contract. *Skills MUST have: * Knowledge of Financials (AP, GL and Project Accounting) is a plus. *Required Skills/Experience** (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must have)* The position entails the following specific job related responsibilities: • The candidate must assess how to functionally implement new or changing business requirements of Time & Labor and Payroll modules within the PeopleSoft application. • Develop functional specifications to document system modifications to interfaces, enhancements, reports and business processes and gain business owner or vendor concurrence on requirements. • The candidate must have complete knowledge in configuring the TL and Payroll modules in PeopleSoft HCM. • Develop test plans, test scripts and execute tests to support system patches and updates; major system upgrades/enhancements and defect resolution. Analyze Payroll and T&L defects; researches and documents system configuration and behavior; test corrective actions and validate corrections moved to production. • Maintain/add Time Reporting and Earnings Codes as needed; updates TRC Programs and maps the TRCs to the appropriate earning codes. • Work with the Security Administrator to maintain the PeopleSoft Time and Labor and Payroll permission Security. • Create and customize queries for the business users based on their needs. Help core users understand how the system works and assists with resolving operational issues. • Maintain and modify real time and batch rules used by time administration process. Work with the business users to clear up low and medium exceptions. Recognize high exceptions generated through Time Administration and Payroll Calc and works to correct any configuration set-up errors that resulted in the high exception. • Maintain functional documentation for the PeopleSoft Time and Labor and Payroll configuration and processes. Maintain Labor Distribution, Work Management Systems, BizTalk and OHAS interfaces from/to the System and troubleshoots errors. • Experience with PeopleSoft Tools are required – items include: People Tools, Application Engine, PeopleSoft Workflow, Security and Online Query and SQL Plus Tools. • Candidate must have excellent organization and communications skills (both oral and written). • Ability to develop well-written system documentation (both technical and functional specs) as well as interpret and begin design based on functional specs written by others. • Experience with the set-up, configuration and development of customized screens and/or online processing, and/or custom batch programs. • Complete challenging assignments with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines. • Ability to work independently as well as with a large team. • Strong inter-personnel skills that requires significant interaction with peers and customers (internal users). • Troubleshoot and resolve problems. *Assignment* This is a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst assignment - no code development work involved.
