Position: * Cisco Wireless Enginee*r (1)
Location: Peoria, IL

Overview:
Engineers will be customer facing position. Serve as a member of
network, desktop and wireless team. Consultant must have a thorough
understanding of 802.11 based wireless architecture including strong
working knowledge installing, configuring, and supporting Cisco
Router/Switch and Wireless LAN Hardware products
Requirements:
1. Must have 3+ administering and implementing Cisco Wireless
LAN Configuration in Outdoor environments
2. Must have Cisco Wireless LAN Configuration including:
a. Configuration of both autonomous and Light Weight Access
Point Solutions, including MESH (THIS IS A MUST ) Clean Air, Wireless
Control System, WCS Navigator, RFID, and RTLS, and AeroScout
b. Installation of wireless voice technologies including Cisco
7920 series and / or Vocera Communication Systems.
c. Perform wireless site surveys, conduct site evaluations and
generate Heat Maps
d. Conduct wireless site surveys utilizing spectrum analysis
technologies, recommend and implement corrective action.
e. Configuration of Wireless Security Platforms, including
intrusion prevention and clean access solutions.
f. Perform network related tasks, including configuration of
Cisco ISR routers, switches (3750, 4500, 6500 and Nexus 7K), ASA5500,
ACS (AAA), Radius, IAS, QOS
g. Provide detailed network drawings and diagrams and relation
as-built documentation
3. Cisco knowledge with network design, operational support,
hands-on implementation and configuration of routers, hubs, switches,
Controllers, Access points, and cabling in a large enterprise LAN/WAN
/WLAN environment.
4. Knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, FR/ATM, MPLS, IPVPN,,
ACLs, QOS, TCP/IP, IPX.
5. Cisco certifications of CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCDP a plus
6. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
8. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support
of this project
