Sr Oracle Developer/PA3 Location:NYC
6 MONTHS *SCOPE OF SERVICES * This resource will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of database structure as well as the data manipulation, storage, and summarization as displayed in reports. Database development work is performed with Oracle 10gRDBMS, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle Report 10g. This programmer is to create data structure and capture all data into the repository of an Oracle database. Other responsibilities are to maintain and enhance database structure, perform SQL programming/tuning, and utilize Oracle Report to generate outputs. Such data can be entered via the electronic forms developed by utilizing LiquidOffice or from other front end web based functionalities/screens/data load/data sources. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * - Minimum of 8 years experience in the design, development, programming and implementation of IT applications utilizing relational databases. - Must have extensive knowledge of 9i/10g Application Server Architecture, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle 10g RDBMS. - Demonstrated experience and ability to develop reports utilizing Oracle Reports. - Experience with PVCS versionmanager software or other version control tool. *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : * - Unix Shell Scripting preferred on Solaris platform, or Perl - ERWIN - Basic DBA tasks including the manipulation of system tables. - Experience using SQLLDR, FTP Secure and Curl. - XML - Oracle certified professional - Demonstrated knowledge of ACRSplus and ODS’ database logical design and table structures with extensive knowledge and clear understanding of worker unit hierarchy and processing of worker’s workload. Demonstrated knowledge of logical design and table structure of NYS CONECTIONS system database.
