Experience creating and managing release schedules, monitoring progress,
monitoring and tracking completion of release deliverables

Experience recognizing and assisting in the resolution of conflicts and
contentions within a release

Experience with business intelligence projects and tools

Development and change management experience using ERWIN, Informatica
(required), Cognos, TM1, Oracle (required) and Unix (required)

Familiarity with DB concepts, unix shell scripting and Erwin models
-
Significant experience with source control tools such as VSS or SVN
(Subversion) (preferred) or PVCS is a must
*Roles & Responsibilities** *:
-
Analyzes the scope of current, planned and proposed projects and works
with multiple stakeholders (support teams, QA teams, development teams,
infrastructure teams, project management office and functional teams) to
bundle projects into releases
-
Creates and maintains an overall project release calendar and manages all
inter-release / inter-project dependencies
-
Understands code and database dependencies and coordinates and
prioritizes changes accordingly. Mediates resolution to conflicts between
projects
-
Tracks and controls changes to release scope and adjusts the release
content accordingly
-
Communicates release status and release changes to all stakeholders
-
Aligns source code and documentation versions to their respective
releases and acts as the overall source code control person across all
projects (strategic, major, minor, bug fixes, etc.)
-
Defines and documents a source code and document version control process
and implements it using Treasury’s source code control tool, SVN
(Subversion)
-
Owns and manages multiple, heterogeneous development environments
(multiple servers, software tools, applications, operating systems and
locations)
-
Assigns projects to development environments and coordinates
inter-project dependencies. Coordinates database and code refreshes.
Maintains a constantly up to date list of project to development environment
assignments
-
Reviews and approves project deployment plans. Creates release deployment
plans which encompass one or more project deployment plans
-
Conducts deployment rehearsals and testing in development. Acts as the
liaison between the QA team and the development team for deploying releases
to QA. Coordinates QA reapplies and bug fixes
-
Acts as the liaison between the QA team, the infrastructure team, the
support team and the development team to ensure seamless, automated
deployments to QA and to Production
-
Performs code and documentation reviews to ensure that all releases
comply with Treasury’s SDLC and standards
-
Effectively manages and logs risks and issues and escalates them as
necessary
