Rate $50/hr* on C2C*

*Role & Responsibilities:
*SDE Lead having a Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science or related
discipline with 5 - 7 yrs. of software development experience. Strong
technical generalist (and ace troubleshooter) who is skilled in both
Windows AND Unix admin. Should be capable of scripting on both and some
programming. The primary responsibilities of the resource will be:
· Providing first-line support to the Client Services and Support
organization
· Makes enhancements to existing software and processes under the guidance
of a Senior Software Engineer or Project Lead.
· Investigate/validate the customer/support technical issues
· Understand the functional impact of issue reported
· Create/validate the code fix approach
· Get approach review done with MS FTE on need basis
· Talk to support and service team on need basis
· Track Dev task status, adapting to changing requirements, and driving
quality upstream in all phases of development. *

*Required Skillsets:
*· C#, C++, Java, Perl, Linux/Unix, .Net Framework, COM, Build & deployment
tools, Coding, Debugging, Unit Testing
· Understanding of virtual environments , this means that they must have
the breadth to troubleshoot the cause of the error as being in one of the
following: 1) IAM Desktop/Client, 2) IAM Server, 3) Citrix Server, 4)
Domain/config, 5) Network/interconnections, 6) IAM application (vs. its
Configuration/Setup), 7) Clinical applications or other hosted applications
(including web applications, etc); or 8) Bridges/Connectors that link the
IAM and Clinical applications.
· Strong grasp of Java and object-oriented principles
· Effective multi-tasking and prioritizing based on business demands.
· Effective in an environment with frequent changes in priorities
· Skilled in software schedule estimation or be willing to learn to
estimate tasks.
· Able to read logs to help troubleshoot issues.
· Able to do basic Unix scripting as part of the troubleshooting process.
· General understanding of SOAP-based web services, networking, Citrix,
virtual environments, thin clients, terminal servers, directory services,
RDBMS servers, LDAP and Active Directory.
· Bugs review and investigation
· Code review & fundamental coding (follow coding standards, analyzing the
impact of code change, optimized and high performance code)
· Customer-centric mindset
· Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for: Providing status,
Coordination of efforts, Troubleshooting and Collaboration with customer
and other teams.
