Title: *Performance Engineer *
Location: *OAKS, PA*
Duration: *6+ Months*
Rate: *Open*
Interview: *F2F interview required*
*MUST HAVE ~10 years distributed systems experience*:
1) Deep experience with heterogeneous, distributed architectures
comprised of the following technologies
a. Oracle
b. Weblogic
c. MQ Messaging / Service Bus
d. Tuxedo
e. Linux / Solaris
f. Windows
g. SQL Server
2) Ability to collect, analyze and report on key performance
metrics from the above component.
3) Ability to learn a new application and work with appropriate
application resources to identify, capture, and analyze the key performance
metrics of that application.
4) Strong communication skills, particularly in the context of
performance-related discussions with the application and component
specialists. Also the ability to express complex analytical conclusions
concisely via Excel, Powerpoint, charts, etc.
5) Familiarity with some automated method of collecting, storing
and trending performance related data. One example would be using the
Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack [e.g. SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and
SSIS] This is preferred but not required as long as the basic concepts
are understood.
