*Technical/Functional Skills *
· In-depth knowledge of Netbackup 5.x and 6.x concepts
· The challenges of Enterprise Netbackup environment
· Installation and configuration of Master/Media and clients
· Working with Netbackup GUI
· The Command Line interface
· Netbackup Operations Manager and the reporting tools
· Configuration of Volume Pools, Storage Units, Policies, Tape
drives and Robot
· Media management
· Performing catalog backups and restores
· Troubleshooting the backup issues by analyzing the netbackup logs
· Perquisites of upgradation from NBU 5.x to NBU 6.x
· Knowledge of the different types of libraries and the tape
drives with the density
· Fair knowledge of scripting ( Shell or PERL)
*Total Experience Required *4 – 6 years
*Roles & Responsibilities*
•Resolve issues, day to day operation, incident management and Change
implementations.
•Work along with Eaton resources in fulfilling all the standard statement
of work
•Maintenance of all documentation for the infrastructure in scope.
•Configuration Backup and Restore of relevant in accordance to the incident
management process.
•Coordination with third party suppliers and other vendors for break fix.
