*Desired Skills:*
Minimum 10+y IT experience in building / maintaining Information Systems –
preferably in Financial Domain.
Very good understanding of OLTP concepts.
Extensive experience in Designing Logical Models (Entities, Relationships)
and Physical Model (Tables, Views, Schemas, Normalization).
Strong experience in DB2 and other IBM DB toolset – writing, testing,
implementation of triggers, procedures, functions at DB level using PL/SQL
or other procedural languages.
Very strong SQL writing and tuning skills.
Very good knowledge on Unix / Linux environment – for writing scripts,
setting up batch jobs.
Ability to lead and be a part of a team; and quickly comprehend the unique
requirements of each business team to formulate effective solutions in a
deadline oriented environment.
Understanding of OLAP concepts would be an added advantage Experience in DB
tuning is an added advantage.
