Job Description:
Set up P6 to be ready for S2 process for the Generator and Electrical CoE
(GES) and steam turbine teams in 2012. Provide teams with one centralized
and up to date RBS for S2 resource estimate. Create means to roll up
resource demand from all programs. Set up S2 project templates and define
the resource estimate processes.
Pilot project execution schedules for the teams.
Provide user training and assistance.
P6 configuration shall include at the minimum:
Project folder structure (EPS)
User roles and security profile
RBS creation and maintenance: create an RBS to include the hierarchical
functional team as well as individual employees and contractors. Define
the RBS maintenance procedure.
Templates – create S2 project plan templates
Codes for projects and activities to provide more information
Create resource demand and capacity reports at functional manager and
general manager level. Define reporting frequency.
Set up user views for EPS, Activity, and Assignment screens for ease of use.
Dashboard, portfolio configuration
Data transfer to eNPP - create excel based reports to integrate P6 resource
data with eNPP for S2 roll up.
