*Project Description*:
· This project is to provide functionality for the automated return
of work by using Process Director in combination with their existing
Doc-Flo Workflow.
· We currently use a MACESS Doc-Flo solution to route work
throughout their organization. In the “As-Is” state, the user must provide
a number of inputs to ensure correct routing. It provides limited
functionality to verify user inputs before routing work. This results in
Doc-Flo routing items to the incorrect location. Furthermore, it is
difficult to implement and maintain workflows between Doc-Flo regions,
which allow the execution of complimentary processes. The current routing
system requires significant human intervention in many different steps to
ensure Service Forms route to and from the following business areas.
*Business Requirements*:
*1.* Identify business process for routing work in an automated
fashion to eliminate the miss-routing of work.
*2.* A Solution to provide metrics setting the groundwork for
continual improvements in the future.
*3.* Ability to improve the routing of the Service Forms through
workflow.
*4.* A solution that will allow minimal vendor based resources for
future maintenance.
*5.* Develop a solution in a collaborative manner allowing a
knowledge transfer for the development of future BPM solutions.
