Please send me matching candidates [email protected] Title:Build & Release Manager Location:Baltimore, MD Duration:24+ months Interview:Phone + FTF or Skype (based on location of candidate) Experience:11+ years of IT experience with a degree ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Supports the build and release process including management of environments (Using MKS, SubVersion) • Maintains and improves the automated build system and coordinate releases with respective members of the information technology team. • Plans and manages the development of product builds and build releases into the existing infrastructure. • Designs and implements efficient procedures through automation, for the distribution and installation of new software to the technical infrastructure. • Ensures traceable, secure, authorized and tested versions of implementations are properly installed and meet the demands of defined business processes. • Manages the exact content and roll-out plans for release, through partnership with Development, QA and Infrastructure Teams. • Completes hardware and software audits prior to implementation. • Manages the release, distribution, and installation of software for the organization. • Manage release branches. • Builds and provides high level tests for release binaries. • Improves the efficiency and scalability of the build process and environments on a continuous basis. • Coordinates and collaborates with other departments to resolve Release and Build dependencies to ensure smooth and timely Release deployment. • Provides support for application and environment configuration issues. • Provides day to day Release Management support to the product with Primary area of responsibility. • Responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends. Flexibility is required to execute time critical tasks with little advanced notice. • Complete timely and accurate weekly required reporting, Lockheed Martin time card reporting, compliance, development plan and all other Lockheed Martin Requirements. QUALIFICATIONS • Must have 3+ Years of experience deploying web applications to a production environment • Experience with one or more scripting languages • Experience automating build and release processes • Familiarity with software configuration management systems and/or source code version systems. Subversion experience is required. • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing (including e-mail) at a professional level and to distill complex technical and management data to a laypersons understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy. Ability to organize complex concepts in written or presentation formats. Ability to clearly present information, verbally and in writing, to audiences of diverse technical backgrounds. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, innovative and creative. • Microsoft office suite to include creating documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations for analysis often with no template or guide.
