Job Title: Senior SQL Server Consultant (#2302) Location: Irvine, California Duration: 6+ months This resource needs to be technically sound and should be able to execute the project individually by coming up with suggestions, architecting and picking up the code that is half way very quickly. Should have extensive experience on data warehousing and in specific experience using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SQL Server 2012, 2008 and well versed with writing packages. MUST SKILLS: · Strong PL/ SQL, SQL Server Developer who can · Write ETL Logic using SQL Server Scripts · Strong PL/SQL Skills · Strong SQL Server Skills preference 2005 and above. · Good at Dimensional Modelling · SSIS Knowledge for Scheduling WHAT YOU'LL DO: · Design, implement and develop the ETL processes against data sources. · Set and enforce ETL standards and architecture. · Participate in requirement meetings with Business Analysts and ETL Architect to understand Source and Data warehouse data model, technical metadata and cleansing/transformation rules. · Conduct required source system analysis and data profiling. · Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team to design and develop required ETL processes, performance tune ETL programs/scripts. · Maintain and enhance ETL code, and work with the QA and DBA team to fix performance issues. · Ensure that client requirements are adequately understood and documented. · Lead the team towards best practices from coding perspective and should be in a position to suggest for better code performance.
