*Lead Development Engineer (Java)* Lake Oswego, OR (near Portland, OR) Length: 1-2 years Ø Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to start within 1-2 weeks. ProKarma is looking for a Lead Java Developer for a 1-2 year project with our healthcare client in Lake Oswego, OR. You will report to the Applications Development Manager and will assist in design, development, and unit testing within the ClaimsConnect solution. You will aid in coaching and instructing Associate and Intermediate Applications Developers. *Essential Functions:* Lead the Development and maintain software for the ClaimsConnect solution. Analyze and review business, functional and high-level technical requirements. Create and support detailed project estimates and project work plans. Develop code jointly and independently for all modules within the ClaimsConnect solution, following development standards. Plan, participate, and lead code reviews for changes and enhancements that ensure standards compliance and systems interoperability. Identify code support issues, action resolutions, and provide technical assistance for moderately complex problems. Prepare and package production-ready code modules for staging. Rapidly learn and apply new technologies.
