Exp required:- 3 to 5 years

Certifications:

RHCA Certification Compulsory

Mandatiory Skills:

Automatic installations

Automatize tasks

Advanced installation - e.g. with kickstart

Ssetup networking

setup nfs server, dns , apache,ssh

Check log files

Local storage operation - LVM operations (create PV, VG,LV )

Process operations ( nice, renice, kill )

Basic troubleshooting

Basic cluster operations

Basic in Luci , Cluster Administration.

Ability to write scripts in at least one language (e.g. shell, perl)

VMware Intermediate Skills- Vsphear Operations /Deployments of VM /VM
Resource Managements

Administer Linux (RHEL, CentOS) administrator involved in server
management: Install, secure, monitor, manage, maintain, and retire Linux
servers, both physical and virtual in a global environment.

Manage service requests within published SLA

Manage and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to minimize
system downtime with timely & appropriate communication to customers and
EIS management.

Ensure Linux standards, processes, procedure, and best practices are
efficient, effective, documented

Works moderate level infrastructure tasks and tickets( Incidents/Service
Requests) for LInux & Unix Infrastructure. Defines, schedules, and
implements infrastructure maintenances, Works cross-functionally with
various departments daily

4-8 Years of Workign Experience in Managing LInux/Unix Servers & Services
