*SAS Software Consultant* *Term: 1 year* *Location: Menands, NY** (locals or nearby)* looking for a *SAS Software Consultant* to support the transition to SAS BI from SAS Internet. The Congenital Malformations Registry is an archive for case reports of children born or residing in New York State diagnosed before the age of two with any structural, functional or biochemical abnormality determined genetically or induced during gestation and not due to birthing events. This position will transition analysis and data transformation programs from SAS Internet to SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence. The consultant must have considerable experience in designing and developing enterprise-wide SAS EBI solutions and migration from SASD Internet to SAS EBI. He/she is responsible for new development and enhancements of the application. He/she must be able to provide services for development of SAS EBI contents (Stored process, Dashboard, OLAP cubes, web reports, information maps, etc.), data management using ETL method, and knowledge transfer to ITS and DOH programmers. Other related tasks as assigned. *Required* - 60 months of experience using SAS EBI - 84 months experience using SAS technologies (e.g., Base SAS, SAS/Macros, Enterprise Guide, SAS Internet) on both Windows and Unix operating systems - 84 months experience in coding computer programming languages and markup languages including Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML, JSP - 84 Months experience with relational and multi-dimensional databases, inclusive of Oracle, and data management tools - 60 months using SQL scripts, and create, register, and deploy stored processes within SAS. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, engineering, operations research, public health, computer science, or predicative modeling.
