*Job Description:*
*Position Overview*
Ability to work as a consulting team member on client or internal
assignments including but not limited to product implementation,
enhancement, Systems Integration projects. Ability to utilize Professional
concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and
effective ways. Ability to work with the client to gather technical and
business requirements and suggest effective solutions for their business
needs. Ability to write Functional and Technical Design documents.
Ability to define and develop custom solutions within the scope of a
software product during an implementation. Ability to interact effectively
with clients and coworkers. Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
*Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position include -*
(1) Gather business requirements from clients, troubleshoot complex
business issues, suggest effective solution for fixing issues and guide the
development team for resolution of open issues.
(2) Perform analysis, design and implementation of quality custom solutions
within the software development life cycle in Healthcare domain.
(3) Analyze moderate to complex customers¹ business/technical requirements
and software/product objectives.
(4) Design and develop moderate to complex applications to meet the
customers¹ needs.
(5) Estimate work efforts, delivery time frames, quality and quantity of
resources required to successfully complete software development
activities.
(6) Develop project plans incorporating all project variables.
(7) Conduct periodic status checks with the clients and project team to
assess progress against plan and communicate progress to supervisors as
necessary.
(8) Work to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner and escalate as
appropriate.
(9) Suggest improvements in service delivery processes and techniques.
(10) Prepare weekly status reports on project activities.
*Required Skills*
(1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
or Mathematics.
(2) 6+ years of experience in IT industry of which 3+ years in Healthcare
IT industry.
(3) Complete understanding of Software Development Lifecycle including
Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
(4) Healthcare domain knowledge including experience in HIPAA transaction
processing and Claims processing.
(5) 3+ Consulting and Client facing experience.
(6) 1.5 years of experience in below areas of TriZetto¹ s Facets
application (version 4.81 or above):
a) Understanding of Facets Application Architecture
b) In-depth knowledge of Facets Data model ¬ Membership, Billing,
Customer Service
c) Understanding of Core Batch jobs
d) Knowledge of FXI components & libraries -- XCOM/Embedded Extensions
development
e) Design/Development of custom components to integrate 3rd party
applications to interact with TriZetto Facets system
(7) Strong analytical/problem solving skills to be able to conduct client
business requirement collection skills and transform them into functional
design, technical design and test plan documents.
(8) Experience in leading a team of development resources to execute
software development and troubleshooting activities.
(9) Knowledge of object oriented design and development.
(10) SQL programming experience in Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
platforms.
(11) Programming experience in Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET framework,
C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET.
(12) Experience in writing and utilizing Web Services.
(13) Working experience in Microsoft Office products including Microsoft
Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft
Project, and Microsoft Visio.
(14) Good analytical and problem solving skills.
(15) Good communication skills.
*Preferred Skills:*
(1) Experience in Facets product.
(2) Experience in scripting languages including VB Script, Java Script, and
Perl.
