Description: Teradata is looking for individuals to join our Teradata Labs Development Center for Hadoop. At Teradata we are building the next generation database on top of the Hadoop platform to provide structured and unstructured data analysis at massive scale (Big Data). We're looking for a versatile, high-energy systems engineer to drive the evolution of our state of the art software development infrastructure.  Responsibilities ? Manage systems and policies critical to our development and test infrastructure  ? Cloud and on-premise server clusters required for large-scale testing  ? On-demand provisioning of platforms for development and test using virtualization and physical servers  ? Manage and improve the Continuous Integration and Release processes, leveraging automation  ? Collaborate with product engineers to resolve connectivity, performance, and stability issues with development infrastructure  ? Work with field team to understand and replicate customer IT environments  Qualifications  Requirements ? Experience with build and test automation systems, including Jenkins  ? Ability to craft well-designed scripts in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, etc.  ? Linux system administration  ? Experience using monitoring tools for server health and performance  ? Experience with automated CM and deployment tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible  ? Knowledge of Amazon EC2 and S3 provisioning  ? Storage and network administration  ?
