Client is looking for a dynamic data scientist to develop algorithms for
automated energy efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute at
all levels, defining product, implementing production code, coordinating
other contributors, and monitoring daily operation. Deep intuition for
numerical models, strong coding, and concise communication are essential.

You'll have access to a data-set that is huge, and that continues to grow
exponentially. You'll be supported by a team of experienced engineers and
use state of the art hardware. You will deploy your algorithms on a
distributed platform and see them run in homes nationwide. Your results
will be discussed at all levels in the company and will directly inform
product development. You'll drive algorithms all the way from conception to
production.

This might be the right job for you if many of the following apply:

you are often skeptical of models and optimizations

you love mastering new numerical methods

you care deeply about visualizations and information density

you hate ugly code

you've read 'Code Complete', 'The Pragmatic Programmer', or other books in
the genre

you've considered starting your own company

you care more about kWh than CTR
