I was worried by the suggestion of a split which prompted me to ask. If anything I intend to refer to the Gnome Guidelines in an increasingly inclusive way and only be specific if necessary. I'm sure there are shortlists, cheatsheets or summaries which might be useful but I wouldn't think of splitting anything. Splitting may have been someone way of saying simplification and making certain core values clearer.
