Gordon,

Thanks for your quick response. Being quite bloody minded about he whole deal
I'm interested in developing a Device Interface that will act as a dedicated
device driver for the 6008. I understand that I can write a CoreAudio compliant
USB device interface for the Mac but I'm just a little uncertain where to start
really. I have all the example code from NI with the header file for DAQ so I
guess I must have enough ingredients to make the cake with.... Just don't have
the recipe yet haha.

I would value your opinion as to how to get started.

The reason I am looking to use SignalScope and a multi IO is that I am putting
together a watch/clock timing device.... I don't want to spend the >£1k on a
bought one when I'm not likely to use it enough.... I'm quite happy putting
something together that I'm happy with. I intend to use on analog input for the
mic pickup on the clock or watch and another input I intend to connect some
kind of timing device.... Probably a 555 chip with a low volt "blip" which I
can set to between 1Hz and 10Hz. The intention then is to overlay both input
signals and compare in SignalScope..... Misalignment between the two traces
indicating bad regulation.

As a result I'm not really looking for a high spec ADC/USB device since I'm not
trying to bring in a full audio spectrum... If you see what I mean?

Thanks again for the response. Hope you can get me started in the right
direction!

Best regards
Andrew
