Hello, I am stuck at the issue, where I need to identify that the attached USB device has the Mass storage Partitions on MAC OS-X.
I have registered for the IOMedia notification. On connecting device I am getting the raw device, I am performing operation on the same device. But problem occurs when the device has mass storage partition. I want to operate devices which don't have mass storage partitions. I need to differentiate, whether device has mass storage partition. Came across one key kHasMSCInterface which has value like True OR False. *MSC interface protocol* is defined by the *USB Implementers Forum*. But having doubt that can I use this key to differentiate between devices between Mass storage and others. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
