What exactly do you view positively in the post, or what conclusion are you
drawing?
Is it because LC Classic is going to continue to exist after all?

I am not sure what the part with the licensing does mean. Will the planned
licensing perhaps being changed again, such that the end users of our
LiveCode-developed apps won't actually need a separate "runtime/client" license
per user/month?

For me the new planned licensing (client license for each user) and also the
„phone home“ thing is the biggest bummer. If that would be changed again, that
would be awesome.

I am not sure how long I will be able to use my Livecode commercial/business
lifetime license which does not relay on the new licensing.
Therefore I have already converted 2 of my apps, which I wrote for one of my
customers, to Xojo and others will follow if this new LC licensing for
customized apps will not be changed. The same is with Livecode Server scripts.
I‘ve already rewrote many of my Livecode Server scripts to PHP. The Livecode
Server scripts are still active, but can be replaced by the PHP versions any
time. So I am prepared. ;)
