Yes you are right, this is not a minor aside. Hypertext has been at the core of many systems, and a reason why I still believe in Hypercard-like solutions. Even OuLiPo creators used hypertext in the sixties. What about the creation, now of a OuLinPo (Ouvroir de l’Internet potentiel) around the Guide, to celebrate the fact that any service available thanks to the Internet could be played with, using constraints, classifications, games and more ? As an example, I once (in 1994) chose a poem from Queneau (one among 10^14) where each word was a link to a site. Of course, the web changes quickly and most of the links are dead now. Same thing with an image.
