Search the dictionary for:
$
relaunch
socket
appleEvent
Search in the mailing list or on the forum for the same subjects as well
as AppleScript (more specifically: tell application "Application Name"
to do script myScript as AppleScript).
All these subjects are also discussed in the user manual. Sockets are
also discussed in my book.
