For those who do not know, yesterday was the first day of the monthly LC Global <https://livecode.com/global/> conference which runs one day a month until November.
Compared to my experiences with attending the simulcasts of the past LC conferences the LC Global was much much better. The video and sound quality was great. The idea to combine recorded sessions, especially complex ones, with live speaking between, was really good. I stayed the whole 8 hours in front of my screen, except the little breaks between the session. They were used to get fresh drinks or to get rid of them again... The variety of the topics was good. There was something for every one. I find the idea to run it once a month much better than 3 or 4 days in a row. So there is enough time to sum up the newly learned stuff and to be prepared for the next month. All in all it was an awesome experience and i am really excited for the upcoming event on the 13th July. Thanks again to all of the LC team and to the speakers.
