This does *NOT* work:
on mouseEnter
if mouseDown then
set the backgroundColor of me to red
else
set the backgroundColor of me to green
end if
end mouseEnter
on mouseLeave
set the backgroundColor of me to white
end mouseLeave
which is a "right pox"
