I have left the frozen Mac sitting all night on two occasions and it
did not un-freeze for me. I wish I was going to RRLive but I can not
attend.

I won't be going either :( But am also experiencing these random 2.9
freezes on a macBook Pro.
I've found that if you wait and wait and wait the machine often un-
freezes. 1 - 2 minutes.
