Ouch!

Well, I for one would open the original stack in the lowest version
that can read that format (2.7 ????) and check that everything
works there, and then try saving it from there in legacy format.

I have had no problems doing things that way. Not owning RR 3
I just had my "Month's worth" of 'play', and saving to legacy
format wasn't on my agenda just then: sorry.
