Hi Vicktoras,

This situation is actually just the opposite of what you mention. This is a case in which a record is generated on a computer at the vendors site (perhaps 20 times per day), but the vendor doesn't monitor his computer. This vendor normally takes all his orders over the phone or in person. When my software generates an order via his computer, the vendor must be made aware of it immediately. Since he doesn't normally monitor the computer, the software would generate a phone call to him as if the order came in through that regular channel.

Hi, Richard,

I would avoid this esp. if customer has to pay for a call. Many customers would disable this feature if it were present because it is quite dangerous. It would be more efficient to put a record into a centralized database where vendor can collect, see and read all the relevant "warnings of the day".

Any suggestions on how to generate a phone message from Rev? This would be a situation in which I want my software to notify a vendor with a specific text-to-speech generated phone message. The message would be short (basically the name of a customer, a part number and the phone number of the customer). There must be some services out there that Rev can tie into for this.

Thanks.
