I have no idea. I just know it was an argument. Knowing Eric, it could have been that he was aware of it, but just disagreed with its usage because it was not an "official" term? I just looked and even in Rev's latest dictionary it is only used twice and in neither case itself defined. Eric was too polite to "school" people on a list.
